My grandfather, Emo Pandolfi, painted every day in his studio from 7 in the morning until there was natural light available in the afternoon. Every year he had at least one exhibition of his latest works, self-motivated and commissioned portraits, but also landscapes, still-life and religious paintings. He also did many drawings of local characters of my hometown.
