Born in Ancona (Italy), I spent four years of my childhood in north England, where both my parents were working at the Italian Consulate.
We then went back to Italy where I spent a lot of time with my grandfather Emo Pandolfi (please click), who was a painter.
During my teenage years I studied at Liceo Classico Rinaldini, covering amongst other subjects, History of Art, Philosophy, Literature, History, Latin and Ancient Greek.
I first studied photography in Bologna attending the public lectures at Accademia di Belle Arti. I then moved to London, where I studied Photography and Printing Techniques, Live Events Photography, Photoshop and Web Design at the London College of Communication.
Since then I have worked on personal projects about youth culture in the UK and Italy.
My work is represented by photo libraries Getty Images, Reuters, Pymca, Camera Press and Jupiter Images.
